Dr. Jonathan Ringo is the Chief Executive Officer of Convergence Telehealth Partners, a comprehensive healthcare services company with clinical services, telemedicine, chronic disease management, consulting, and healthcare startup advisory divisions. Prior to launching Convergence, he served as the president of Sinai Hospital (Baltimore), a 500-bed hospital and the flagship member of the LifeBridge Health system. During his tenure from 2017-2020, Dr. Ringo was responsible for significant financial, operational, and clinical programmatic improvement. He also served as senior vice president for LifeBridge Health, where he was responsible for the LifeBridge Physician Enterprise, value-based care programs, research, and graduate medical education. Dr. Ringo was responsible for the system’s move from fee-for-service to value-based care, which is now recognized as one of the most successful Accountable Care Organizations in the state of Maryland and nationally.
Prior to LifeBridge, Dr. Ringo was the first chief medical information officer at Northwell Health System (New York), and was also appointed as vice president of clinical transformation, leading the system in case management, population health, medical informatics, and ambulatory quality. Dr. Ringo has focused on closing the gap in community health disparities while developing centers of excellence and strengthening financial and quality improvement outcomes.
Dr. Ringo is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. He has received numerous awards and recognitions in research and teaching, including the Excellence in Teaching Award from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine on multiple occasions. Dr. Ringo chaired the Maryland Hospital Association’s Council on Legislative and Regulatory Policy and was a member of its executive committee.
